ahh, the good old days. Yo Gabba Gabba is basically the Aquabats, a band i used to go see live all the time. tons of ska/mod references in the video: vespa in the background, the bannana is wearing a bomber jacket parka, the boy has braces (suspenders) on, the girls whole outfit is very mod, one of the toys the boy picks up is an Aquabats toy, and the orange t-shirt with the feet on em references The English Beat.

yea. What else is new, none werk related. got a new bike 3 weeks ago.
its an IRO Mark V, brooks saddle, easton bar, mavic cpx22 wheelset, and other meh components. its a fixed gear bike, which for the unaware, is a single speed bike with no freewheel, so if the bike is moving, the peddals are moving. no back break needed, since you just put pressure on the peddals in the opposite direction. Excellent for training, just from 3 weeks of riding this bike, i’ve noticed a definate improvement in my endurance, strength and cadence. Its a lil weird riding the bianchi now… its like going from a pure striped down racer, to a nice comfortable, leather clad exotic, its got speed, but damn is it comfortable. I noticed today i was able to top out the bikes gears and keep it going at that pace (flatland). nice.
been hitting the social rides quite a bit this summer. from LA/SM/SFV critical masses, to sins und sprokets, midnight ridazz, pier pressure and my personal favorite… cruz with us. so far the summers become chock full of rides, almost 1 every friday, and sometime on saturday too. you shouldcome out.
