So, i guess i took an impromptu summer vacation. What did i do?
first, and biggest… Me and the misses bought a house in lovely Pasadena. Next we went to burning man (pics will be up soon).
NerdOut has been taken down temporarily, the database for it was causing password chaos and a general pain in the ass. I’ll put it back up soon and actually start posting on it.
Ipso/Fatso headquarters have been in the process of moving to a better location (aka a house). But, posts, and work for that matter have been put on a lil hold in order to devote more time to getting the place up to stringent ipso/fatso standards (painting, odd jobs).
until things are more in place (a few more days) things will be quiet around here.
nothing fancy, in facts, its extremely basic, since its the content that will ultimately drive the site.
the purpose, the subject?
well, all its the new home for all the nerdy stuff i’m into. instead of bringing it here, where its kind of out of place, its all got a home of its own.
also, the blog is open to nerds of different flavors, so if you want to write, let me know, we can talk about it, and i’ll get you set up.

want more awesome? it was saras birthday yesterday (win!), and she also found out she got a house she had been bidding on. more win and a large side of awesome.
what else is in the awesome box? oh nothing, just a bunch of Bike Week Pasadena shwag with Ipsy D’s illustrations…. WIN. (i’ll have pics of that stuff when it ready…. this is merely representative.)

… and now for something completely different….
well, it happened, just when i thought things were good and stable. I have been laid off from my job. I haven’t been unemployed in about 10 years, and the previous time was solely because i was involved in car accident putting me out of work since the car i used for the job was totaled.
well, i guess i just gotta pick up and move on. unfortunately in the current economic climate, finding a ‘creative’ job is going to be hard.
what does that mean for ipso/fatso? well, first things first, no free work anymore, sorry, but all this benefit, charity, volunteer and ‘just for a friend’ stuff is on hold. sorry, but i gotta bring some money in now. one might say i lost ‘corporate sponsorship’.
