ahh, the good old days. Yo Gabba Gabba is basically the Aquabats, a band i used to go see live all the time. tons of ska/mod references in the video: vespa in the background, the bannana is wearing a bomber jacket parka, the boy has braces (suspenders) on, the girls whole outfit is very mod, one of the toys the boy picks up is an Aquabats toy, and the orange t-shirt with the feet on em references The English Beat.

well, it happened, just when i thought things were good and stable. I have been laid off from my job. I haven’t been unemployed in about 10 years, and the previous time was solely because i was involved in car accident putting me out of work since the car i used for the job was totaled.

well, i guess i just gotta pick up and move on. unfortunately in the current economic climate, finding a ‘creative’ job is going to be hard.

what does that mean for ipso/fatso? well, first things first, no free work anymore, sorry, but all this benefit, charity, volunteer and ‘just for a friend’ stuff is on hold. sorry, but i gotta bring some money in now. one might say i lost ‘corporate sponsorship’.

not just back to work, but back to everything.

I dropped out for a couple of weeks over the holidays. Didn’t really go out much, didn’t talk to many, hell, i even stopped going on social rides. What did i do? I slept, sat around, quality time with the xbox, and rode my bike. The misses and I even squeezed in a lil trip to Mexico.

but vacations over now, and time to get going again (not a bad thing). damn that was nice.
